13-year old Iranian Girl Sings "Someone Like You."
Beauty is the feeling of goosebumps. The goosebumps that scatter themselves across my body acknowledge the beauty in this young girl's honest passion and love for the music she sings, and for those friends/family that she seemingly sings to. From country to country, beauty cannot be denied. Misunderstood, maybe. But misunderstanding is not absolute, and only needs time to be resolved. It only takes time for one to realize how beautiful this camcorder video of Tara singing in a garage is. How honest it feels in its simplicity, and how speechless the voice of one young child can make us. And while my goosebumps escalate as Tara makes her way through the chorus, allowing her voice to trail off so desperately romantic, I patiently wait for those goosebumps to emerge within another so together, we can feel the beauty of goosebumps without saying a word.

Alex Day - Rubbish is the Majors
Interesting story about Alex's major label encounter. It's funny that major labels, who have been damaged the most from the Internet Revolution, haven't learned to master the "little things" that would matter to an artist. At one time, and for a long time, the Majors had clout and leverage over the artist. The Label had resources the artist wanted, and so the Label could leverage their resources to make the artist want them. Nowadays, and Alex is a perfect example of this, its the label that should want the Artist. Thus, the label should know Alex's "other songs," or have an idea of what they can do for Alex, BEFORE meeting him in person. Labels, whether indie or major, have to take this approach or else Musician's, like Alex, will just continue to do their thing DIY and assemble the needed tools "in-house." They've already proved that they can do so.
Check out Alex's hit song "Forever Yours" below.

Wale - The Cloud ft. Tiara Thomas
A dope track and a dope video with some finely rolled B's. Love Wale. Attention Deficit is a classic. Peep it. And Peep the retro all-star jersey from the '95 game in Phoenix. Dopeness. Question is though, why Scottie Pippen's jersey?

R.I.P. Nate Dogg
Rest in Peace to one of the greatest hook-delivering R&B singers of all-time. Nate, real name Nathaniel D Hale, suffered from 2 strokes over recent years which may have contributed to his death. A true legend in Hip-Hop, Nate Dogg, you will truly be missed

Black Mamba
This looks so tight. You've seen Machete, right? In typical Rodriguez/Grindhouse fashion. Kanye as "The Boss" is good fucking casting.

Lebron ain't got shit on the Greatest
About a month ago I posted a video by the people of Cleveland responding to Lebron James' "What should I do" commercial. Now the Great One himself has responded to Lebron's arrogant statement. I respect MJ for teaching the boy a lesson on what it takes to be a man and take his message to heart in my own way. I also perceive this as a taunt by Michael, who is notorious for being a vicious competitor, by reasserting his title as the greatest basketball player ever. Lebron was likely the only player so far in history that could battle Jordan for that title. Kobe has the rings, but has never had the numbers that Jordan had. Lebron had the numbers, Numbers that were better than Jordan's, but just needed the rings. The rings could have come... now they don't even matter.

2010 CNN Hero of the Year
My Grandmother would put it this way... Anuradha Koirala is one of God's good people. I agree Grandma. This Thanksgiving weekend, while preparing for my Property Final, I was watching an airing of CNN's 2010 Heroes ceremony and was first introduced to Koirala and her heroic work. Koirala created a safe house in Kathmandu, Nepal for girls and women who were victims of human sex trafficking.
Human trafficking, to me, is the worse possible thing that can happen to a person. My appreciation for someone like Koirala is indescribable and after reading/watching her story, my life has been changed. I encourage everyone to take the time to click the link above and find out more about Koirala (or just click here) and to be a hero in their own right.

This is hilarious.... The ageless Chad Pennington, who is getting his first start this weekend since last year, looks to be getting pumped up the old fashion way. Channeling his inner rapper and proving that white boys got skills, here he is gettin down with the get down to a little Em. Good luck this weekend Chad, I'll be looking for your guest spot on BET.

Air Force 1 One World Collection
I've been following this special One World Collection for almost a year now and some of these shoes are just sick! The idea behind the collection is to give a few artists of every form around the globe the chance to customize and create their own signature kick. We're talking Chinese Designers (like the Michael Lau shown above), French DJ's, Tokyo Rappers, U.S. sports legends and others. So far, I think my favorite is by Krink, the New York graffiti artist (shown below). Click the link above and see the whole collection they have available... Questlove's shoe is Bananas.

The City of Cleveland's response to LeBron
Ouch! LeBron's tryin to be cool (See commercial below) but he's also just tryin not to say "I'm Sorry." LeBron should stay away from the limelight for a little bit, or expect responses like this for a while.

Kanye West "Runaway" - Short Film
Now, I know a lot of you don't like Kanye and refuse to accept that Taylor Swift forgave him for what happened last year at the VMA's but lets be real... Kanye is one of the greatest artists of our time (and plus, don't you think its odd that She's well over it but much of the public isn't?). This short film is just another example of that. I haven't even gotten to watch all of it because I'm in the library studying tort law, but the first half I watched is DOPE! Not only is the soundtrack raw, but visually, artistically, originally and any other dick-ridin adjective you want to throw in there, superb. Please, put down your Vanilla-hate latte and begin appreciating what Kanye does and who he is. This guy wears his heart on his sleeve and is passionate about not only what he does, but who he is. To take a line from the Ye himself, "Everything I'm not makes me everything I am." Do you really think he'd be where he is if he was shy, passive, or indirect? We all could use some life advice from this guy whether you want to admit it or not.
Check out this short film he did with Spike Jonze. Back to Torts.
